Karmell J. Macoretta, MSN, ANP-BC
A life-long resident of Western New York, Karm has been nursing for over 35 years. She spent the majority of her career as a Perioperative nurse in various roles including RN First Assistant and Preoperative Coordinator at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where she was also responsible for developing and implementing several programs and policies. She has worked independently as former co-owner and Clinical Director of Passport Health New York State travel medicine clinic, and in more recent years as part of an amazing spine team at UB Neurosurgery.
Karm completed her first nursing degree at Niagara County Community College. She then went on to complete a combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degree at D’Youville College. Finally, she completed a post-graduate Adult Nurse Practitioner certificate program at the University of Buffalo in 2003.
She resides in Lewiston and enjoys music, writing and spending time with her family, preferably on a beach.
